About TMCA

The Towlston Meadow Community Association is the HOA (Home Owner’s Association) that represents the community.  We are primarily focused on common area maintenance and improvement, community events and other issues shared by our owners. 

The TMCA board is composed of at least five members of the community serving two-year terms.  The board members are elected at the annual meeting (held in January).  The board meets approximately ten times per year. The board has a number of roles:

        • President
        • Vice President
        • Treasurer
        • Secretary
        • Social 
        • Grounds
        • Architectural Committee (monitors exterior home appearance and upkeep, approves all exterior additions including decks, room additions, fences)   

History

Towlston Meadow is a community of 75 single family homes located in Fairfax County, Virginia.  The Home Owners Association was incorporated in April 1978 with owners taking residency beginning in 1979.  The community was constructed by Par Construction.  The community includes common space with paved walking trails, a tennis court, a playground, and open meadows for all residents to enjoy.  Our residents enjoy paved sidewalks on both sides of the streets, cul-de-sacs on each street,  mature trees and landscaping.  Our neighborhood does not have any overhead wires.

Location

TMCA is located in the Dranesville Precinct of Fairfax County.  A map of the neighborhood can be seen in the link below.  Towlston Meadow residents enjoy close access to the multi-use shopping community of Tysons Corner, the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, and the highly rated Colvin Run Elementary School (walkable distance).
